Teaching Philosophy

 My Teaching Philosophy

I believe that all the students need their content information and that is why the Essentialist Theory meets that need. I also believe in integrating the Progressivisms’ point of view because it gives the students a more hands on activities and liberty to express their learning abilities. Progressivism provides the students with actively participating in things they are actually interested on and it gives a sense of freedom since you have options. A progressionist’s sees each child as a whole.  I also believe in the Social Reconstructionist because it is actively allowing the students to learn about social issues by actually providing and handling these issues. All these theories facilitate the students' problem solving and critical thinking as well as their social services and meeting the state standards.

How can we describe the texture of a strawberry if we have never touched one?
